Le Alphabet

It took me more than a year to constantly share and post about my calligraphy journey. Just last month, I had the guts to share videos while I practice or scribble.

Le Alphabet

MQ Scribbles: Alphabet

This is how I scribble the alphabet when doing calligraphy. It has been more than a year before I had the courage to constantly share or post whatever I scribble. I was timid about it at first since I’m a noob in this field but with sharing, I have learned some new tips. I gained some new friends. Lastly, I became part of a community.

Not only that, but it has been a personal goal for me to have a staple alphabet that I use whenever I would scribble words, quotes or gifts.

Back story

It took me almost half a year before I got to create this. There had been a lot of papers used, pens that dried out of ink before this was really formulated.

Truth be told but whenever you start with something, you will look up to those who are already experts in the field and tend to copy what they do. That’s how it is, really. Then, when you become more confident, you get to experiment with things and with the style of how you write.

That’s how I really started. I would try to copy the guides or tutorials I see from the internet, print it out and start practicing. I noticed that also from others.Β When the time has come that I could say that I can do it, that’s the time that I start doing and creating my own.

Soon enough, I’ll be able to tick another item from my goals list. Soon.

So tell me what do you think about creating your own stuff? 😃

I always enjoy watching your videos. I love how you did this alphabet. You’re so talented. It’s nice that you’re doing your own style now and experimenting. Well done!!

I have looked at your movie two times. I’m just obsessed with it. This is so cool. I really adore it. When I was studying to become a teacher, we had to do exam in Capital and small letters. Just the same as you did now. It was one of my favorite classes. I wish I could spend an afternoon with you. Would be so much fun.

You’re really amazing! I always tell you how awed I am whenever I see your calligraphy and art. But seeing you do it on a video is really something else. Your art is really difficult and challenging! Keep it up!

Everytime i see your works, it makes me want to start my own. Honestly, i was inspired to do lettering so i bought a pen. I didnt know pens for calligraphy are quite expensive too. I mean compared to ordinary pens, but its addictive!

When I also started with calligraphy, I watched lots and lots of Youtube videos about how to do the strokes, how to make styles in every letter, and so on. It was a hobby that I really enjoyed. I’m sure this tutorial would be very helpful to other beginners as well. πŸ™‚

    It is great to be in the 20s to explore something new. I am trying my hand at podcasting. But for two reasons, I ahve been unable to fully exploit this beautiful tool;
    1. Paucity of time
    2. Lack of focus

But I am sure, I will be able to master this subject as well.

Calligraphy is one of those things I wish I could explore. I have no idea if I’ll be any good. I’d love to learn it though. To be able to come up with beautifully crafted wording is a useful skill.
